I saw a tree with oranges on it. I neither took oranges nor did I leave oranges on the tree. How?

uhm... how what? you saw a tree with oranges... but didn't leave them or take them... how? doesn't make much sense...
But I'm guessing since you saw (cut) the tree you took everything?

You cut the tree down, all oranges came off, then you took the tree away
If you didn't take them with you and you didn't leave any on the tree, maybe you gave the oranges away or sold them.
its simple someone else did it all for you

well, since you neither took or left the oranges, I guess you just saw the tree and drew a painting of it without oranges? O.o

You summoned a hurricane, knocking every orange off the tree. You didn't take any, you didn't leave any on the tree. Or you cut it, though I'm not sure that cutting a tree denounces it of its tree title. SOOOOOOOO let's say you cut the tree, then stuck it through one of those industrial shredders.
