"Simple" Multiplication

Here is a simple multiplication , and believe me you can solve this

P Q R S T
x M
----------
T S R Q P

x is a symbol of multiplication. The puzzle is to subsitute P, Q, R, S, T, & M with unique integers to make the above equation true.

m=1
every other integer may vary. as long as m=1 the product of the problem will have the same variables.

the problem with yours HWDIV is that if i do x * 1, im going to get x. So if x is 25, 25 *1 is 25, not 52

Wow I feel dumb. I was going through x2-x4 and seeing which numerals would reverse their digits' numeral in each scenario (i.e, 4x3=12; is 2x3<=4? no...).
When I got to x4, I said "2x4=8, so 2 might be in the 10,000...but 8x4=24, so it doesn't work..."
I learned my multiplication tables 17 years ago. But clearly it didn't stick.

Maggie, i don't believe your answer is correct. PQRST all seem to be different variables therefore for yours to be correct it would have to be something like:

PQQP
xP
-----
PQQP

Ydrameos has the right idea.

M*T=P, M*S=Q, M*R=R, M*Q=S, M*P=T.
Solve for each variable, you get;
T=P/M, S=Q/M, R=R/M, Q=S/M, P=T/M.

[(T/M)(S/M)(R/M)(Q/M)(P/M)]
x M
---------------------------
T S R Q P
