Grammar School

A 1,000 year old Celtic medieval manuscript was found in Ireland with the following written

    +h@+ +h@+ 1$ 1$

+h@+ +h@+ 1$ n0+ 1$ n0+

1$ +h@+ 1+ 1+ 1$
The archaeologist, Hell Raiser was first intrigued. After looking closely he smiled and said, "whoever wrote this, certainly didn't pass grammar school"

Well ! how would you write it ?

I'd probably start by running it through a 133+ p4r53r:

That that is is
That that is not is not
Is that it it is

Then I'd add punctuation to demonstrate the three most obtuse philosophical postulates to ever come out of Ireland:

1. That that is, is.
2. That that is not, is not.
3. Is that it...? It is.

Yes, very deep. Actually, junk this whole idea. If this is actually the translation, then that that had had the distinguished honor of being excavated is unfortunate.

hey i think it is some thing that goes like this

"that that is is
that that is not is not
is that it it is"

it might split up and even do some thing like
"that, that is, is
that? that is not, is not,
is that it? it is!"

i might be on the right track and i might not be.

Eric, you want to learn history from a trick website ?

Hell Raiser did not find the manuscript; someone else did...
So when he read the note and the manuscript, he was actually refering to the note...
Just fix the grammar

It is possible and for a hint, ask Carey.

Patrick, are you talking about the only shoe repair/blues house established in South Korea's capital: The sole Seoul sole/soul store? Or does that not count as it has a non-English word in it?
In reference to my post: Had "had had" had another "had had" previous to it, it would have been four "had"s in a row - unfortunately, then that "that that" that immediately preceded it would have made the sentence utter nonsense.

i think we need to re-evaluate the age of the manuscripts. Maybe they were actually from the future? They were planted by a time traveler named, Zenoi 9. Zenoi 9 had a bad end to his life because he accidentally came in to contact with himself in te year 3492 and caused an explosion that leveled half of neo new york

Yeah, but Neo New York was completely reconstructed by 3493 with the advent of the renanovators - an accomplishment that is widely overlooked since the entire Eastern Seaboard was vaporized later that year by Traxa the Moon Moth.

Seth and Alan, you guys forget the fact that by the year 3500, Earth will be unable to support life and Mars will be the new "Earth".
And it will take a few centuries more for the people of Mars to finally bring live back the Earth.
And another few centuries for the creation of Gundams.

lol ^.

However, you guys forgot that some coordinator ass made moon as a base for a mega huge ass positron cannon, destroyed Mars, the new earth circa 3501, and only 2 men survived. one was seth, the other alan. They killed each other over a witty comment that didn't go down quite well with the other. End of mankind.

Eric...

1) Omg no, we're not stupid.

2) The celts were at their cultural peak in Ireland 1000 years ago. They inhabited Ireland at around 500 B.C. and never disappeared, they still live there today, althought at this stage their blood is mixed with that of Vikings, Normans, Spanish and Anglo-Saxons.

3) None of the symbols used here are American. No, not even the $. Most of these symbols originated in ancient or medieval Europe, the most modern one being @, which was used in buisness and is probably from 17th century France.

Get your facts right before trying to be a smart-ass.
