Equation equalization

This is equation is obviously illogical:

26=74

The question is, can you turn this equation into a sensible equation without adding any type mathematical signs or numbers or anything like that?

Make both 26 and 74 a number or coins adding up to the same amount.

((Hint: I have no idea))

well, if you turn the 2 upside down, it kinda becomes a 7, then if you turn the 6 upside down it becomes a 9. And sometimes the way people write a 9 it really looks like a 4. so it becomes 74=74.

Ok, so I really don't know, but I gave it a shot!

Write the 2 without the bottom bit and make it with lines, the flip the six around to make it a 9 and draw it with a straight line down and draw it straight too and add a extra - at the end of the curve.

74!

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but could you not just put a line through the = to make it 26 doesn't equal 74...
Or, if not, tip the = lines to make 26 < 74...

They're the only thoughts i have at this moment in time...

Remove one of the equal lines to get 26-74.

(The question said you can't add anything)

I agree with one of the guys above, tilt the equals sign so it makes, "26<74" it was the first thing to come to mind.

My first thought was temperature conversion.. 26C = 74F.. but it's not right.. 26C is 78.8F.

K i meant with just moving around the numbers, but since i didn't 26<74 is right; but my answer is 7^2=49(it's suppose to be 7 squared but i couldn't make the little 2 and i flipped the 6 to a 9)

7^2=49 9 is 6 upside down

You could change the 7 into an L-

26L=4

Perfect algebra!
