Grandmother and the Crocodile
Once in ancient Egypt, an old woman was washing clothes in the Nile while her grandson was playing on the river bank. Suddenly a crocodile leaped out of the river and grabbed the boy between the teeth. The old woman ran towards them shouting, “Leave the child alone, you selfish crocodile”.
Much to her surprise the crocodile looked at her and said, “Selfish? I am hungry and must eat! Would you call me selfish for following the laws of nature?” With no time to wonder at a crocodile talking with his mouth full, the grandmother said, “Then eat me, but leave the child!”
The crocodile would have rather eaten the juicy child than the bony old woman, but feeling obliged by his own words, he replied, “Very well, I will eat you instead of the child if you answer me one simple question correctly. My question is this: "which of you will I eat?”
What should the old woman answer?

she should answer "my child will be eaten" because that causes a logic flaw leting them both go free.
i read about this one somewhere. she would have to say "you will eat my kid."
p.s. he eats both of them
oh and people please, dont just copy our answers and say you cam up with it.
well if the grandmother was eaten and the crocodile wants the child more how can you trust the crocodile to leave the child alone?
croc dundee...
the question is "which is of you WILL I eat?"

Why do adults always do this? the kid needs someone to take care of him! if he eats the woman, the kid'll have no one to take care of him and die. why dont adults ever think sometimes?
I say the croc should eat both of 'em. hah.
*crunch crunch crunch*
"Both tasted good to me"
said Crocodile
O<-< stick man
If the crocadile was speaking it means it's mouth was open so the boy was free, so him and his grandmother could just run away into the house and be fine!
the grandmother will say 'me' because she answred the question whiach was what the crock asked to do doesnt mater if its right or wron at the time. since she anwred the question she must get eaten because whe done what the crock asked and if she gets eaten then he answred the questikn correctly
---------------
ANSWER
---------------
The old woman must answer, "The child!"
---------------
DETAILS
---------------
If the woman said "Me", the crocodile would simply leave her and eat the child, thus making her answer incorrect. But with this answer, the crocodile cannot eat the kid without breaking his promise. He may however still eat the grandmother, because that would make her answer incorrect, and he never said what he would do if she answered incorrectly, only what he would do if she answered correctly.
---------------
GOT RIGHT
---------------
First anonymous and "me" gave the right answer, but both with a wrong consequence.
Since when can crocidiles talk?
