1 Fox and 2 Chickens
How does the farmer get 2 chickens and a fox across a river in a boat 1 at a time without leaving a chicken with the fox?
Most of you may have heard this one, but it may be fun for those who haven't.

He first takes over the fox, then comes back with none. Then he takes over one chicken and picks up the fox, taking him back to the beginning. Then he drops off the fox and gets the other chicken and then both chickens are on one side, and the fox is on the other!
I concur!
Why would a farmer want a fox?
And how big are those chickens?
I go wit the first comment
toss the fox in the river and take the chickens across one at a time, eventually the fox will go towards the chickens, that way they all get across the river, and never been left with the fox.
Eat the chickens, then take the fox across.
He paddles a chicken and the fox over to the other side, puts out the chicken then paddled back to get the other one and drops it off. Then paddles back again to get some aerobic exercise then goes back and dumps the fox.
dont use the boat because only 1 animal at a time can be on the boat but not on the boat you can take more than one...?=D
He takes over a fox. Comes back and picks up a chicken. Goes to the fox side and switches the two. Then switches the fox with the other chicken. He then brings over the chicken to the side of the other chicken and then comes get the fox.
take fox. come back take a chicken and bring back fox. take chicken #2 come back and get fox
