Lost "Love" Story
Four men and and four women are shipwrecked on a desert island. Eventually each one falls in love with each other, and is himself/herself loved by one person. Here are the equations.
David Taylor falls in love with a girl who is, unfortunately, in love with Jon Baker. Evan Jeffrey loves a girl who loves the man who loves Rebecca Russell. Megan Kelly is loved by Carl Duckinson . Rhonda French hates Carl Duckinson and is hated by the man whome Julie Margaret loves.
Who Loves Evan Jeffrey ?

I'm blown away and cant get my head round it but i think it's Megan. They don't tell you enough to work it out anyway.

If it's a desert island, I don't think they'd survive long enough to fall in love with each other. But supposing they do find drinkable water and food, I come up with several possible answers, I don't think there's enough information to tell for sure.
1. It could be Megan. Evan loves Rhonda loves David loves Rebecca loves Jon loves Julie loves Carl loves Megan loves Evan works. (Carl and Rhonda hate each other.)
2. It could be Rhonda. Evan loves Julie loves David loves Rebecca loves Jon loves Rhonda loves Evan. Carl and Megan love each other (happy times!). David hates Rhonda hates Carl.
3. It could be Rebecca, in which case Evan and Rebecca would love each other. David loves Rhonda loves Jon loves Julie loves Carl loves Megan loves David. Rhonda and Carl hate each other.
4. Jon could be gay and it could be him. Evan loves Rhonda loves David loves Rebecca loves Jon loves Evan. Julie loves Carl loves Megan, who is lesbian and loves Julie. Carl and and Rhonda hate each other.
All I can tell for sure is that it isn't Julie, because that would lead to a contradiction, and that it isn't David or Carl (or himself), because they fall in love with girls.
Who cares!!
Wow. I'm stumped.
Hopefully this is one of the puzzles Rajesh decides to post the solution to, because I'm eager to find out! :D
Most people are making the assumption that everyone on the island is straight. For all we know, one of the men could be gay and in love with Evan. We also can't rule out the possibility that Evan is narcissistic and only loves himself.
Its the penguins or..................the llamas....................................................or the lemears.
