There was this guy. He was addicted to red. He had everything that's related to red. He used everything that was red except this red comb, this red pair of scissors and this red blade.Why didn't he use these?

Either the comb , scissors or blade were bloody, or they weren't his.
so he could tell if he had hurt himself

they are his personal hair trimming tools, which he has someone use on him
he has red hair, huh? how do you know that? personally, it makes sense to me that he would be bald...why else wouldn't he use hair trimming tools? because he has red hair? or because they aren't his...meh...whatever.
he has red hair, he doesnt use the comb or sciissors because he had red hair and he didnt use the blade becuase he has a red beard. he doesnt want to use them becuase he doesnt want to lose his hair, sorry hes not bald

You know what, I think you are all wrong....sorry but I'm just going to think outside the box here and say,
How can The man that loves red things use the comb, scissors and blade, when the person explaining the riddle has them? 'He used everything that was red except this red comb, this red pair of scissors and this red blade.' The main word in that is THIS as in 'THIS red comb'. that shows the speaker has them, so how could the man use them???, I tink I may be right, but correct me if I'm wrong. PLEASE
