The Station Master

Johnny asked the Station Master Mr. Hebrew , how long the train would be in the station. The Station Master with a mathematical bend of mind answered , "222222."

When Johnny asked again, "what about the train on the next track?", "2222222." Mr. Hebrew said.

What does that mean ?

222222:
two to 2222 hrs (24-hr time, a.k.a. military time)
which is two to 10:22PM
meaning: the train leaves at 10:20 PM

2222222:
two to 2222 hrs too
which is two to 10:22PM too
Meaning: the second train also leaves at 10:20PM
