10 birds
There is a hunter who sees 10 birds sitting on a branch of a tree.
He shoots and hits only 1 of them.
How many birds are left alive on the branch?

didnt some1 already post a question like this?
none, or possibly one. He hit one, the language does not say he killed any (in any language you translate this one to starting from this English. One is hit. I could still be on the branch.
Or he was our bowman and he hit one without stirring the others. Or he hunted in a manner we have not seen and the other 9 had no idea anything had happened at all. Or, as is the way in with death, 10 of us are on our way in the branch of life, the hunter strikes one of us atop the head as though we are Zeus, to replace us in the count...the others go on with life, blind to anything but seeing the world the way they always have (as though we are not even there). Or...
NONE BECAUSE:
the only one left is the dead one
10. it never said he killed any of them...
