So there's more than one..
I'd say "Hi" and "Thru", since they are both simpliefied spellings of another word. "High" and "Through".
Hi as in 'hello'.
Ok, sorry, I meant 'which word'. There is one.
Like the last puzzle, there could be multiple answeres. Thru could be one, but it isn't the one I'm thinking of.

That works, but it's still not what I'm thinking of. I sould have made sure there were two words like that. :) When this is done I'll have the perfect puzzle.
It has to be hat. all the other words are set up like this: Hi has abcdefg H I jkl... the first letter and the last letter are one after another in the alphabet. so is thru lmnopqrs T U vwx... check them all. every one follows this rule exept for hat. i havn't read through all of the comments, so if someone already posted this and i'm doing no good, my bad. if it helped someone, then i hope your happy. it took me about 2 minites to figure out.

It is hat, all of the other words begin with a letter and end with that lettters next in order in the alphabet
example

Bob and Anon. above michael got it right. I have removed and changed words to eliminate all the other possibilities mentioned.

"words" is referring to the list of words provided, not the number of answers.

these are all good, but is it loam? it has 2 vowels all the other words hav 1.....
I think the answer is probably Hat, like other people have said, but it could also be Flag. Flag is the only one that has a letter that hangs below the base line.
