A person rides into a city, let's say Philadelphia. He arrives in Philadelphia on Friday. He stays there for only three days, and then rode back on Friday. How did he do it?

friday is the name of his horse
He rides back on his horse. The horse's name is Friday. My friend told me this one hahaha
He lost his 5 days and found himself.
This one's obvious. He goes to philly for 3 days, and then goes to the next town for the rest of the week. Next friday, he goes back to Philly and rides home on the train.
He's name was Friday

The question does not say that he goes back to where he came from to begin with, it just says that on friday he rode back, to Philadelphia.

He arrives at Philadelphia on Friday then goes home and ride back to Philadelphia the next Friday.
No where does it say he went home or stayed the rest of the week. It could be a possibility.
But I've heard this one before and the answer I heard was The Horse (even though it says nothing about him riding a horse).
