Hands of the clock!

How many times do the hands of an analogue clock point to
exactly the same direction at exactly the same time, in 24hrs?
(this is very easy!)

But...for the math gurus...
What are the exact times when this happens?
(please don't tell me 1:05, 2:10, etc....)

I've posted this question just to give you some food for thought,
but any suggestions are more than welcome!

ok... so surely it's 24 times, obviously starting with twelve o'clock, but i think i'll leave it to others to work out the specific times...
12:00
between 01:05 and 01:06
between 02:10 and 02:11
etc...

it is only 22 times as the hour hand goes around twice as well so in 24 times for the minute it is only 22 times. these are at even time intervals so 24/22 gives the ratio times every 5 minutes so the times are
00:00
01:05.45454545
02:10.90909090
03:16.36363636
04:21.81818181
05:27.27272727
06:32.72727272
07:38.18181818
08:43.63636363
09:49.09090909
10:54.54545454
12:00
13:05.45454545
14:10.90909090
15:16.36363636
16:21.81818181
17:27.27272727
18:32.72727272
19:38.18181818
20:43.63636363
21:49.09090909
22:54.54545454

Actually, after rereading the question very carefully, I'm thinking the answer is actually just 2 times, since it's asking how many times in a 24hr period would the two hands be in the same direction at the same time.

But there are three hands, and say it's around two ten, the minute and hour hands may not be lined up when the second hand goes by. Besides, the second hand only points at the whole minute mark, unless it's one that sweeps around smoothly, so the answer would be two.
