A thief stole money and bought something and told someone to give it to his friend as a present.
The victim doesn't know he paid for it, the thief(or the victim) who own it doesn't use it, the friend uses it but didn't paid for it, and if the one who suppose to give it loses it he'll pay for it...

Most donate money to buy books and such. When you use it you don't own it just borrowing. If you lose it you have to pay for it. So on and so

its prolly me or my weak englich.. the libary or whoever pays for the book, they keep records on what books they pay for, so they would know it.
but good you explained how it fit together "Anonymous". i never knew people donate libary can buy books ;) but then again people donate to all the famos web sites too.

If you donate money to a library you don't ask them: "Buy this book, buy that book", they buy the books they think the library needs and the donor doesn't know which books has been bought on his account.
