Switches & Bulbs

There are 3 bulbs in a room, each having a switch outside the room.

How can you tell which switch is of which bulb if:

1. you are allowed to switch the switches 'on' & 'off' as many times as you want

but

2. you are allowed to look into the room only ONCE in your lifetime!
(then you have to decide)

Easy... Switch on 2 bulbs...
Wait a couple of minutes....
Switch off one the 2 bulbs and go immediatly into the room...
The bulb that is still warm is the one you just switched off...

It says that you are allowed to LOOK into the room once, not enter.
Besides, you have a whole lifetime to figure it out.
My solution:
Switch on one bulb. Wait for a long time, until you are certain that it is finished. Then, switch on another bulb and look into the room.
Use binoculars or something so that you can get a really good view of the bulbs.
Hopefully, you should be able to see which of the bulbs is burnt out, and obviously which of the bulbs is shining, and therefore figure the problem out.

No No you ARE allowed into the room...excuse me for not being clear enough...assume that you can go inside the room and even touch the bulbs if you care.
But the answer you (Anon. 2) gave might work perfectly just the same!

Thanks;

Close all three doors, so they'll all be shut at the same time. Then turn the switches (one at a time) on and off, while looking at the FLOOR that is by each door. Keep the doors closed as you do this. you'll be able to determin which swich is for what room. Okay, now since you're allowed to look into one room, leave the last light on, open the door to the room, where the light that is on is at, go in and stare at the light 'till you're blind, or just stay in there. Whatever floats your boat. I'm good either way. :)
