Quizzical Karl
On sunday, one week after leeny's death, The whole Ingrum family gathered for his funeral. It was at the beginning of the funeral and the pastor was giving a long and mourningful speech. The family teared, then quizical karl said something to his niece, "I wonder how much dirt is covering leeny at this moment", She said, "I don't think that is an appropriate thing to be talking about, the pastor is giving the speech." Karl said, "Well assuming the hole is 6' deep 3' wide and 3.5' long and the coffin is 2' deep 2.5' wide and 3' long, I wonder".

Doen't they bury the casket after the final sermon.
I'll Say there was no dirt on Lenny at that moment. as he most likely still wasn't put in the ground.
the answer is 48 cubic feet of dirt
I have been to several funeral and there is no dirt on the coffin while the priest or preacher is still talking. Typicaly the first dirt on the coffin is placed there by a family member or members at the end of the funeral right before they leave.
I agree #1...

there is no dirt since it is at the beginning of the sermon when he asked
there is no dirt because it is a hole.
There's no dirt covering Leeny.. He's inside the Coffin!! Even "if" he was already buried, he'd be protected form the dirt.
Good job, I was trying to trick you with the long story, but you got it.......
He is quite short too... in a 3 foot long casket? Just thought that was interesting.
there is no dirt in a hole just air
1. shouldn't you CAPITALIZE someone's name (I learned that in 1st grade!)
2. what kind of a name is Leeny?
3. I do agree that he would not have any dirt on him if he was in a casket
