A man prepares for a dangerous mission at work by putting on a constricting uniform. Halfway through the mission, he sense danger and immediatly presses a button. He escapes that threat, but moments later is found 100 feet away unconscience. He later dies.

I say that he is an underwater sea diver. He was 100 feet under water when he ran out of air and pressed the button for help. They pulled him up to quickly and to nitogen build up in his body. He later died because of it.

because dont they have that escape button? where it ejects you out of ur seat and you go up into the air...umm the seat's parchute didnt work so he fell dramaticly to the ground! BOOM and it was 100 feet away...srry...i hope im right...

it has to be sperm... senses danger hits a button is ejected and dies in the trash can... or a sock.

Is he a cop?
He is a deep sea diver, he gets pulled up by pressing the emergency button, but is pulled up too quickly. He later dies of the Bends.
i have to agree with ejrm and alexander, he was a deep sea diver and ran out of air, bends killed him later
Stuntman? most stunts have protective uniform of sorts and and some way to bail out if the trick goes wrong. Idea #2: parachutist with military, tried to engage secondary chute which failed to engage.
Jet Pilot
I think he's Batman. He presses a button on his utility belt and escapes danger, but then is hit by something and is knocked unconcious. Then the villain finishes the job off by killing him.

i also think that it was a jet pilot that was about to get shot down so he ejected, but when he ejected the air pressure was changing while he was falling(?) and he passed out.
Good job on the guesses and all the help on my lack of spelling. lol.

you all spelt "unconscious" wrong.
Shoot, my guess would have been a member of the bomb squad putting on his flack suit and looking at an explosive they found. He either pushed a worng button on the bomb or radioed for everyone to get back and BOOM!
