Where 4
A retired man lives on an island in sunny California in the 1940's. He has a great view, which he stares at for many hours every day from his room. He gets free room and boarde and is surrounded by others of his kind. He lives out his final days on the island surrounded by very valuable real estate, but feels trapped and burdened nonetheless.
Where does the man spend his final days and why does he feel trapped?

ALCATRAZ
GILLIGAN'S ISLAND!!!
Is he in Alcatraz?
just thinking a bit outside the box but could he not be trapped by sand bars?
I think Jail or Alcatraz because if he`s in jail that would be a nightmare and he might have limited days to live if he is in jail...and if he is in Alcatraz..well...who wouldnt want to spend their final days there? Unless your not a party person lolz!!!
Alkatraz ... haha i liked your puzzle, i get bored easily and my parents usually don't buy me many puzzles so i usually rely on word problems, so thanks for stimulating my mind for a bit ... =) ... even though i didn't think much about it... theres a chance i'm still wrong... =)
