I dont think a tree can be savagly attacked.

I thought Laurel was a type of flower, but hey, a tree sounds good to me!
Laurel is a tree, savagely attacked with an ax and sold as a Christmas tree
Is "a tree" too simple an answer? Why make this difficult?
What about using a chainsaw? That would be savage also.
laurel was a bear or dear and they sold the body and got a good price
laurel is a redwood that was cut down with an ax. The guy sold laurel as wood to the lumber mill. lol if its any easier then that, then ill juts have to make it more complicated for val there.
ITS A CHICKEN FOOLS
it was an animal
A laurel is plant, a flower if i remember correctly. the "sharp object" could easily be a pair of shears used to cut the flower. it would die because it now has no way to provide energy to itself so, the plant dies. then the "stranger" or gardener sells the flower to a flower shop for a high price and makes money.
so the answer is... Laurel is a flower and the gardener was making money.
o<-< stick man
Laurel is a cow, and was sold for the meat and profit
Laurel was a bay laurel tree. The person sold the tree for firewood.
