Alex, Bob and Charlie

"The three of us made some bets.

First, Alex won from Bob as much Alex had originally next Bob won from Charlie as much as Bob then had left finally Charlie won from Alex as much as Charlie then had left. We ended up having equal amounts of money, I began with $ 0"

Which one of the three Alex, Bob, or Charlie is the speaker ?

Any one of them could be the speaker. They all started and ended with $0.

That's right, unless you change the order around, but each action is given an article specifying sequence, so this is not possible. Everybody had 0.

Charlie is the speaker.

Bob started with more than Alex. In the first round Alex doubled up, but Bob still had money to spare. Meaning Charlie began with nothing.

I don't think Charlie can be the speaker. I think any one of them could be.
Alex doubled his money, Bob lost some. Then Bob doubled and Charlie lost some. Then Charlie doubled and Alex lost some. If Charlie had zero and the others had money then they would not have ended up with equal amounts in the end, because the others would have money but he would still be at zero since he only won as much as he had. Same oes if you single out any as the speaker.

Alex won ZERO from Bob.
Bob won Zero from Charlie.
Charlie won ZERO from Alex.

They all had ZERO.

None of the three would be the speaker since they would feel like fools referring to themselves in the third person.

Rajesh is the speaker. He also has $0...!!!!1
