Alphabet Soup !

When the junior Einstein saw a series of G along with the following alphabets in his soup.

A B C D E
F
-----------
G G G G G G

His mind created an amazing calculation. If you would have known the
operation, you might have known the numbers which each alphabet
represent. Don't you ?

Brute force:
- Assume that this is an aithmetic operation
- Since the result has more digits, than the inputs, it must be addition or multiplication
- Suppose it is addition. Since every digit in the result differs from the input, there must be carries in every place. But with only two addends a carry can be at most 2. Since there are 5 different digits, that is not possible. So it must be multiplication.
- create a table on a spreadsheet with 111111, 222222, 333333, etc. on top and 2,3...9 on the side. Build a division table. The only divisor, that gives the result with all different digits, not including the numbers on top an side is 666666 / 7 = 95238.

7.25 is the answer because if you multiply every thing on the top, then you subtract the botom row and add the middle row you get 7.25. this is so easy just do it on your com.

Surge is a genius.

His (her) last name must be Einstein, or Einstein Jr.
