You cut a smaller circle in the middle, that has an equal are as the larger ring around it; then cut it in half, and in half again!
[[sayyy the smaller circle has a radius of 4 ( ~area=3.14*16=50.24). the radius of the larger circle would have to be the square root of 32 (a=(3.14*32)- 50.24=50.24). The circumfrence would be about 60.67 (c=2*9.66*3.14)]]
All the pieces will be equal with frosting and (if there are 8 candles spread evenly across the cake,) a candle each :)
it seems everyone else is thinking too hard... stack it. cut it in half, put the peice on top of each other. cut again and repeat. eight each slices no math.
You cut it down the middle. Take the 2 halves and and cut them down the middle. Then take the 4 pieces and line em up in a row and cut em all one more time down the middle. O <--Whole cake DD <--- First cut then cut those in half <) <) <) <) To get this. Then keep em in a row like you see there cut those in half to get smaller versions of the same thing.

one down the middle, one accross the middle and one through the side of the cake. too easy come on harder riddles please.
squeeky, squeeky, squeeky...
then only 4 pieces will have icing and candles on them, you'll need to do better than that.
But it's round, so every side should have icing and candls, or non should.

one down the middle, one accross the middle and one through middle of the side of the cake is the right answer. a harder one is coming....:)

well i thoughh what squeeky said, one down the middle, one across the middle and one through the side of the cake
thats because thats what squeeky did say. nd who's to say there is going to be 8 candles on this cake, y not 16, or 64, or 8648.
