don't bananas grow on tree's? a tree that's not a tree could be a family tree. descendants get my coat of arms and my inheritance.

Definitely a banana. They don't grow on trees, they grow on tree-like plants called "pseudostems."

yeah macgyver is right, the tree they grow on has no wood in its stem , its just tighly packed leaaves, so technically a banana is a herb
