A murderer is condemned to death.
He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

The room with the lions would be the safest because they would all be dead. Three years is a very long time.

I woul say the room with the lion notice not plural, due to the fact that lions can go without eating for many month and of course, the strongest would be the last one standing, who wwould not be a threat due to weakness. He could be taken down by the murderer using the bones of the dead -
I have even heard this in spanish so the correct answer is the lions because they would be dead, and he cant stay in one of the rooms because he is being forced to CHOOSE one!

The lions wouldn't all die at the same time leaving food for two lions to eat untill there is one left. so it would be impossible for all three lions not to eat for 3 years

I don't think the assassins would be much of a threat to him. Since when do assassins kill murderers on death row? Sure, the lions are dead, but the assassins are probably there to rescue him.

If room is full of Lions, and lions are edible, so we got a room full of food. Eventually they will start eating each other. If room is big enough, sure, lions can survive.
No one says, that assassins have intentions to kill one of their kind.
