"The other one says he is john !" A voice came from the corridor. Two guys were standing there, John who always lies and Jim who always tells the truth.

well the truth is in ones own mind, if jim was named jim and he was retarded, and thought he was john, then of course hes telling the truth because in his own mind he is john. but really his name is jim and he just doesnt know it.
It was John.
Since John always lies, he would never say he is John.
Since Jim always tells the truth, he would never say he is John either.
That means that neither man could have said that he is John which in turn means that the statement "The other one says he is John" is a lie. So the only one who could have said this is John.
This is of course assuming that both men are perfectly okay in the head, not retarded or insane. And that they know exactly who they are.
Easy logic :o)
And as for whoever posted the first anonymous. Even if Jim were retarded and thought he was John, the question isn't "who said 'I'm John'?" The question was who said, "The other one says he is John."
If Jim said it, that would make it true, but John wouldn't say "I'm John" because he always lies. But if John said it, then it would be a lie, which means Jim didn't say he was John. If Jim is retarded and thinks he's John, why wouldn't he say it? So if you think about it, if Jim thinks his name is John, then neither of them could have possibly said "The other one says he is John."
Then again if John is also retarded and thinks his name is Jim, then if he says "I'm John" it would be a lie. In which case, Jim said "The other one says he's John."
So there you go:
Normal answer: John
1 retard answer: no one;impossible
2 retards answer: Jim
And we're done :o)
The clue is in the question.
Obviously here we have evidence of the first talking corridor.
The statement says there were 2 guys in the corridor - it didn't say there are ONLY 2 guys. So, the answer is easy. There is a beautiful blonde standing just outside the corridor, and she is the one that said these words.

Do we really know John is a liar all the time. Maybe he only told a few lies but has now changed his ways and has decided to do some good and tell the truth.
And who is this Jim chap who never tells lies, I find that hard to believe, and if it is I bet he's a lonely chap because he would never keep a girlfriend for long. Maybe that is why he is always hanging out with John in corridors. Maybe he is the liar, but is just better at it that John whose left eye always twitches when he tells a porky pie.
In summary I think the answers to who said these words is Rajesh Lal. Makes sense to me.

actually, the guy said "the OTHER one says he is john!", and since john never tells the truth, he would never say he was john, but jim would never say he was john because he never tells a lie.So john would have just lied and said that jim (who never lies) siad that he was john. Therefore, it would have to john who said it,because it would be a lie.
