they are twins. they don't personally know each other, but they must be brothers.
its his baby brother, of course the baby doesn't know who he is because babies don't understand that until they get older.
The feild is a jousting feild. One has on full-face armor and the otheronly has half face armor.
The one with the full-face armor recognizes his brother, but his brother cannot see his face, so he does not recognize him.
