Horse Racing
There is a Horse Track that's betting station has the slogan of "We'll take any bet".
A man is down on his luck, but he is very smart, so he decides to go to this Horse Track to try and make some money.
When he gets there, he sees this slogan and comes with an idea on what to be on.
The question is, what does he put his money on?

He bets £500 that he will not win £500 on (some horse)
He bets that all but one horse will not come in first
He bets that all but one horse will not come in first
He bets that all but one horse will not come in first
He bets that all the horses will finish.
he puts his money on the table where they take bets
I think he bet that the first horse to cross the finish line would be the winner.
He simple made a bet on the winner. He can just say: I'll bet on the winner!
Ragknot & last anon= correct
There are so many correct answers to this though.
- the first horse is the winner
- only one horse will win
- all horses will finish
- Both of these horses won't be the winner
- The last horse won't win
I'm sad because its been a while since I've seen a really good riddle on ToM.
The winning horse will be ridden by the jockey that comes in first
he puts his money on the table
He bets that the bookies will make the most money.
None of your answers make sense!!!
The thing with betting is, your outcome is directally relately on the odds of your input.
If he bets on "The Winner" there is a 1/1 chance he will be right. Thus he won't get any money.
I have no idea what the answer is, but the ones i've seen leave him with whatever he bet....
He places nothing because they TAKE the bet! Other than that i have no idea
he bets that he will make a bet.
he bets that he will make a bet.
he bets that he will make a bet.
he bets that he will make a bet.
he bets that he will make a bet.
He will bet on "what is on"
He will bet on "what is on"
he will bet on the jokey with the boots and yelow shirt...:P
you can't beat that all horses will finish, a horse could get hurt, die, or for many reasons not finish.
you guys need to read the riddle a little better it even says " the question is, what does he put his money on"..... it dosnt say anything about what he bet on, they want to know WHERE he put his money! so its probably the betting counter
