I think it's 3
-Convert numbers to letters
9=I
22=V
24=X
12=L
?
13=M
they are roman numerals in ascending order
The numeral in between L and M is C
and converting C back into numbers =3

Scratching my head as to why it wasn't two missing numbers....
one for C and one for D, giving 3 and 4.
Since in roman numerals
I=1
V=5
X=10
L=50
C=100
D=500
M=1000

yep.. how come its only 3? not 3 and 4? definitely confused..
