What is the Landmark?
The distances from several cities to a famous landmark have been measured. The distances are close enough in accuracy to determine the landmark:
1,124,640 ft. ------- London
39,330,720 ft. ------ Honolulu
4,414,080 ft. ------- Oslo
23,400,960 ft. ------ Fairbanks
10,565,280 ft. ------ Cairo
31,954,560 ft. ------ Tokyo
What is the landmark, and where is it located?
1,124,640 ft. ------- London
39,330,720 ft. ------ Honolulu
4,414,080 ft. ------- Oslo
23,400,960 ft. ------ Fairbanks
10,565,280 ft. ------ Cairo
31,954,560 ft. ------ Tokyo
What is the landmark, and where is it located?

The Eiffel Tower is a mere 55,667,040 feet from where I'm sitting right now!
That must be it!
That's it Chris ...
As that's not the right answer, I'm not Chris.
... hang on! maybe that was the right answer, so you can call me Wiz.
sorry 'bout that ... good job wiz ... must be tired ... it's
1:15AM here
I'll try (as Chris) Nelson's Column.
It's 6:20 AM here.
I'm not Chris, so I'm not 55,667,040 feet from Paris and it's not 5.42 pm here.
So which statement is not false?
If I'm Cherry, it can't be Nelson's Column. DUHH!!!!!!! ;)
After a spot of triangulation from 3 locations - London, Fairbanks and Oslo, the answer is the Tuillerie, north end, particularly Reno's Tabac, and if we're talking in feet, then it is one of the tables outside the front door, coming out, on the right.
You can see the Awful Tower from there, and if the World Police actually blew it up, it might fall and possibly crush you....
The fun you can have with an un-tasked satellite when no one is watching....
That definitely wasn't Chris posting that nonsense. I reckon he thought that it was 1,240 feet from London to Nelson's column. What a loon.
London is Charing Cross for the purpose of distance calculations. It looked like it could be 1,240 feet from Charing Cross to Nelson's column. I hope Cherry doesn't see any of that; I know exactly the helpful word of wisdom I'd receive.
DUH!!! ... heh heh
