The Logic Class

Cam is teaching a class at Puzzlarian University. The class titled "Logic Problems: The Best Approach" is always popular with students and this semester is no exception. There is only one space left in the class and three students have applied. Each of the applicants is interviewed.

The last space is taken by a student who makes either three true or three false statements. One of the other two applicants makes two true and one false statement. The other applicant makes one true and two false statements.

Here's what they said during their interview:

Knightmare:
1. Curtis is the oldest
2. Karl will not bring the teacher an apple
3. I am the one with three true statements

Karl:
1. I would bring the teacher an apple
2. Curtis will be chosen
3. Knightmare's first statement is false

Curtis:
1. I am the oldest, so I should be selected
2. Karl will be selected
3. Karl's third atatement is true

Which student was selected as the last person chosen for the Logic class?

Sorry, Knightmare gets it with 3 false, Karl has TFT, and Curtis has FFT

Knightmare is chosen due to three falses.

Knightmare-3 false
1. Curtis is oldest. FALSE
2. Karl will not bring the teacher an apple. FALSE
3. I am the one with three true statements. FALSE

Karl-2 true, 1 false
1. I would bring the teacher an apple. TRUE
2. Curtis will be chosen. FALSE
3. Knightmare's first statement is false. TRUE

Curtis-1 true, 2 false
1. I am the oldest, so I should be selected. FALSE
2. Karl will be selected. FALSE
3. Karl's third statement is true. TRUE

So as can be seen, Knightmare will be selected.

Method?
Eliminated Karl and Curtis from being all true due to nominating another(Curtis will be chosen), eliminated Knightmare from being all true through trial and error, then went top to bottom with all falses, starting with Knightmare. As he was the right answer, I had no need to go further.
