Today is 1st Jan 2010, Sammy is 9
His birthday is 31st Dec
So 2 days ago was the day before his 9th birthday, hence he was 8
on 31st December 2010 sammy will be his 10th Birthday.
So next year, 2011, Sammy will be 11
