    63

  2. 2. Wizard of Oz Said:

    5^2 – 1 = 24
    8^2 – 1 = 63

  3. 3. DP Said:

    Same.
    I came up with (b) using the same logic as Wiz

  4. 4. KK Said:

    Man what base please or it is impossible to know

  5. 5. Ruby Said:

    I agree don’t follow that person cause he posts nonsense don’t wast my time what is :: there is no such symbol but there is in System Base x : y : z if so don’t post useless kind of riddle

  6. 6. Chris Said:

    Ruby. In math a:b :: c:d reads, a is to b as c is to d or more fully: the ratio of a to b is the same as the ratio of c to d. In modern terms a/b = c/d

    It is disappointing that Mr. Plyush didn’t provide a solution.

  7. 7. DP Said:

    You can also use it as a similarity.
    For example,
    Period : Sentence :: Question Mark : Question
    Read, “Period is to sentence, as Question mark is to question.”

    Maybe you could answer: “Apples:Fruit::Potato:??”
