You are a professional sign maker. The local government issues a requisition for you to paint a sign. The information to be displayed on the sign was given to you:

PUZZLETOWN -- 15 MILES

CONFUSEDVILLE -- 25 MILES

VILLAGE OF ILLOGICAL THOUGHT -- 50 MILES

At the last moment, you receive a phone call requesting you to add one more name:

TOWNSHIP OF MISCONSTRUED

You ask the caller how many miles ... she said just use the same logic as for the other names.

You look at the names and say "OK".

A Christmas Gift

It's Christmas, all merry and joyful
In me, the goodies are plentiful
If you know what's in me,
you'll get three,
with another for free
A third is yellow, with spikes for protection,
A third is red, with its seeds like perspiration,
A third is purle, with bitter peels as protection,
They're for Jesus' favourites, they say
But they're even on gingerbread house roofs that play
They're all sweet and tasty
But they might give you cavities, ouchy
They come from country of islands
near the most populous land
So go ahead and guess
or all you'll get is a mess!!!

So, what goodies are inside me??

(Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year
to everyone ^^)

Unique Poem

This poem is actually very gimmicky.
It is an attempted attempt at fusion.
Cause and result have been made to occupy a common plane.
Enough to drive me insane.

The author has tried to analyse
Some not yet existing lines

In a vaguely sonnet form.
But in that case result has pre-
Ceded cause because the poem

Only comes into existence on comple
Tion of the analysis. What then
Was the poet analysing?

Yet the poem
And its analysis
Exist occupying the same frame. That is,
The content and its criticism
Are actually one and the same.

What so unique about this poem ?

But I got wet through before I got to Carlsbad, and I have got such a cold as I shall not be able to get rid of in a hurry. I got to bank about noon, but first of all I got shaved and dressed. I soon got into the secret of getting a petition before the board, but I could not get an answer then, however I got intelligence from the agent that I should most likely get one the next morning.

As soon as I got back to my hotel, I got my dinner, and got to bed, it was not long before I got to sleep. When I got up in the morning, I got my breakfast, and then got myself dressed, that I might get out in time, to get an answer to my petition. As soon as I got it, I got into the taxi, and got to Carlsbad by three: and about tea time, I got home. I have got nothing particular for you and so Adieu.

The Mystery of Alphabet

I recently visited Legoland, in California. One of my interesting memories of the trip turned out to be the long and winding road to get there. The road where I also came across this unique mystery. I saw solid, single letters of the alphabet, firmly fixed on the side of the road.

First I saw the letter "L" almost as big as the height of a christmas tree, "this could be fun for kids" I thought. Then came equally big, the letter "E", and then to my surprise the letter "C" (!) and the "O".

"ok ! its the mystery of a broken letter G, for LEGO" , I told myself.

But as I went on and waited for another L or an I, my eyes grew wider and wider with suspense and surprise. It was nothing like I expected. What did I see ?
